Dear Friend:

Thank you for reaching out to my office for your help with your federal issue. For nearly 40 years, constituent services have been the backbone of my office. As my constituent, you are my boss, and it is my honor to work on your behalf to achieve a resolution.

As my term in office expires at the end of the year, my office continues to work diligently through 2026 to get a response from the agency handling your concern or issue. In the event my office does not receive a response or resolution by the end of 2026, you have options on how to proceed.

Please fill out the survey below as to how you want your case handled by a either a U.S. senator, the incoming congressional member or if you would like your case closed, by November 6 to inform my office of your wishes for next steps. This will help the transition going into 2027 and ensure a seamless experience in the continuing the work on your pending case.

Casework Transfer Preference

Please indicate your preference regarding disposition of your active casework information by choosing the option that best applies:

Transfer all my casework information to my incoming House member.

I prefer that all my casework information, including all related agency communications, be transferred to the incoming Member of Congress. I understand that I will be required to sign a new privacy release form (PRF) with the incoming Member of Congress to allow them to continue to work on my case.

Transfer only limited information about my casework to my incoming House member.

I prefer that only limited casework information and agency communications associated with all my casework be shared with the incoming Member of Congress. This information includes only my name, contact information, and the agency with which my casework resides. I understand that I will be required to sign a new PRF through the incoming Member of Congress to allow them to continue to work on my case.

Terminate my Case.

I prefer that my casework be terminated.
